Critical Systems Upgrades are Needed to Improve the Learning Environment
ACC students and staff have felt the impact of several of the College’s infrastructure issues. During the past year an instructional building was forced to close for a week due to a gas leak, food preparation in the cafeteria was hindered due to issues with water pipes, and many buildings were left without air conditioning due to chiller and pump failures. These as well as several other problems have caused disturbances to the process of learning.
ACC students deserve to have facilities and amenities that allow them to learn in a worry-free environment. The $12 million in proposed bond funds will allow the College to upgrade the following systems:
• Food service equipment
• Walkway repairs
